1. Bring the dialysis tourniquet to the hospital every time you have dialysis. When you get off the machine after dialysis, the nurse will help the patient tie the tourniquet.
2. After the patient gets off the machine, pay attention to loosen the tourniquet every few minutes and observe whether there is bleeding at the needle hole. The tourniquet can be removed after about 10 minutes.
3. If there is still bleeding after removing the tourniquet, the tourniquet should be quickly fastened until the bleeding stops and then removed.
