The Reusable Snap Tourniquet is a hemostatic device composed of a plastic buckle and an extendable band. It is directly fixed by the plastic buckle and features anti-loosening and convenient operation. It is suitable for scenarios such as blood drawing and infusion, limb emergency hemostasis, and external fixation in medical institutions.Compared with the traditional wound tourniquet, the Reusable Snap Tourniquet adopts an ABS plastic buckle combined with an elastic band body design, which can withstand a 2.5kg tensile force without falling off. When in use, the tensile force parameters need to be adjusted according to the patient's age, blood pressure and limb size. The upper limb should not be used for more than 1 hour, and the lower limb for more than 1.5 hours. It should also avoid areas with skin damage or edema.
.Before each use, check in advance whether the air buckle tourniquet, the buckle and the falcone head are closed, whether the elastic band is intact (except for those that are integrated), and whether the buckle and the falcone head are matched and secure.
.There is no fixed standard for the safe use of a tourniquet. It is usually determined by the patient's age, physical condition and the blood supply to the limbs. For healthy adults under 50 years old, the tourniquet used on the arm should be less than one hour, and on the thigh, it should be less than one and a half hours.
.Location: It is more appropriate to place the pressure tourniquet near the elbow and knee. If placed at the distal end of the arm or leg, the tissue between the tourniquet and the bone is very thin, so it may cause nerve damage.
.If the skin at the tourniquet site is damaged, swollen or has other conditions, the tourniquet should not be used.
